My stay at Hotel @ Yangon Heritage was a mixed experience. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Yangon, and I enjoyed the charming retro vibe of the hotel. However, the noise from the street was bothersome, and the family room I was given was not as comfortable as I had hoped. Overall, while the hotel has its charm, the room could use some improvement. 🌆🥘

Rooms

The family room was large but felt cramped with the second bed, and overlooked a rundown courtyard. The room didn't have proper windows, which made it feel less inviting.

I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and accommodating, helping with special requests and ensuring a pleasant stay.
Location

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Yangon, close to many attractions and eateries, making it very convenient for exploring. However, the street noise might be an issue for some.

Breakfast was a highlight, with three different set menus featuring a blend of local and western dishes that started my day off well.

The building has a charming historical atmosphere, but the steep stairs can be a challenge if you're not accustomed to them.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel @ Yangon Heritage. The design of the hotel was charming, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. However, my room was quite small, and the bathroom layout left much to be desired, especially after showering.

Rooms

The room was cozy but a bit cramped for my taste. The bathroom got quite wet due to the shower design, leaving the entire floor flooded.
Service

The staff were very nice—friendly and attentive to my needs. They even prepared take-away sandwiches and fruits for me when I missed breakfast due to an early departure.

The hotel lacks a lift, which was challenging with my luggage, especially since the stairs are steep. However, the heritage vibe and decor were lovely.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel @ Yangon Heritage. The location is super central, just a few steps away from major spots like the Sule Pagoda, but the noise from the street can be a bit much. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my stay more enjoyable. However, the rooms were somewhat dated, and the bathrooms left a lot to be desired.

Rooms
6.7
The room was clean and had what I needed, but it was quite noisy and lacked a decent view. The bathroom situation was a bit odd; the shower sprayed onto the floor by the toilet, making things messy.
Service
9.6
The staff were super kind and always ready to help, even carrying my suitcase up the stairs since there's no elevator. They went out of their way to arrange a breakfast to go since I left early for a flight.
Location

The hotel is right in the heart of downtown, which is great for sightseeing, but you definitely deal with some street noise. It was a challenge finding nearby places to eat, as the area was pretty crowded and sometimes overwhelming.
Dining

Breakfast was decent and prepared fresh, plus they had good vegetarian options available. I also enjoyed some juice made from local products.
Facilities

No elevator is a downside, but overall, the hotel had what you would expect within its character. Still, having room for improvement in bathroom facilities would elevate the experience.

The hotel is in an old historic building, which adds charm, though the steep stairs may not be suitable for everyone.

My stay at Hotel @ Yangon Heritage was a charming experience, though there were definitely some downsides. The building's historic character was good, with beautiful decorations reminiscent of the British colonial era. However, the street noise was noticeable at times, especially in my street-view room, which might be a concern for light sleepers. Still, the friendly staff and central location made my visit enjoyable overall.

Rooms

I loved the stylish decoration in my single room with a street view, although the steep stairs were a bit challenging. The traditional bathroom setup meant that the floor often turned into a small pool after a shower.
Service

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating; they made sure I felt welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay.
Location

Being centrally located allowed me to walk to various attractions like the Sule Pagoda and Bogyoke Market, making my exploration of downtown Yangon effortless.

Breakfast in the charming upstairs room was a lovely start to my day, with a nice view of the bustling streets below. I really appreciated the quiet atmosphere up there.
Facilities

The hotel's ambiance was good, but the traffic noise and absence of a lift were minor drawbacks to an otherwise pleasant setting.
